US Open tennis tickets
I am new to this website.
Does anyone have experience with ticket brokers for the US Open? Or does anyone know or a blog or website that determines reliablity of these brokers? |

I have bought US Open tickets via Ticketmaster as well as via eBay, and both experiences were very good. eBay stands behind purchases, as does PayPal, so you do have some protection. Note that if Ticketmaster is out of tickets on they day you've checked, that doesn't mean they are all gone, as I've seen more tickets released on later dates.
I've also used Championship Tennis Tours (www.tennistours.com) to book a complete tennis package. They also offer individual tickets to all major tournaments. While there is a slight premium over the face ticket price, they provide excellent service and good seats. |
Hi
If I'm not mistaken, the AMEX card holder presale is going on now through Ticketmaster. If you have an AMEX card, not sure if it's just a GOLD card, you can buy tickets at regular prices and not have to pay scalper, broker, ebay prices. |
Sorry - Ebay doesn;t guarantee sales. All sales are strictly between the seller and buyer. If someone has repeated complaints they can be banned - but ebay doesn;t get involved in finances.
If you use PayPal to pay - and have a dispute and all the proper documentation they will eventually get you a refund. But that's not much use if you don;t have tickets you want. That said - have used ebay numerous times for tickets - but you must check on the reliability of the seller and use a payment method - either PayPal or credit card - that will get you a refund if problems arise. And keep ALL your paperwork until you have used your tickets. You might also try some on-line ticket brokers if you can;t find tickets elsewhere - we have found stubhub.com to be not as expensive as some others. |
