Upscale shopping in Las Vegas
 

I recently booked a trip to Las Vegas, scheduled for May. We will be staying at the Bellagio. I was wondering if there is any upscale shopping available in Las Vegas. Like Hermes, Gucci, Cartier, things like that. Does anyone know? If there is, how is customer service?

the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace is usually the place to go for that kind of shopping. Of course, if you are actually shopping, the service will be good (who gets bad service when dropping that kind of $)?

Vegas is full of upscale shopping. You will even find some of the stores you mention in the Bellagio.
You can also find them at the Forum Shops at Caesars, Desert Passage at the Aladdin, The Promenade at Wynn, Fashion Show Mall (by TI and Wynn)...

On the Strip it is harder to find non-upscale shopping (other than cheap souvenirs) than it is to find upscale shopping.
Vegas caters to people looking to spend money one way or another.

In general, I have found the customer service to be good if I am dressed like I should be in the store. If I wander into the store with regular street clothes, the service can be hit and miss (although if it is a shoe store, I tend to wear nice shoes regardless of the rest of the outfit and they notice that).

I know there is a Hermes shop in the Bellagio. (I always go look at the saddles!) The Forum Shops at Caesar's are also full of upscale stores.

Like anyplace else in this world if you are spending big bucks customer service will be great.

I kind of wonder if this is a troll message tho, I thought just about everyone in the world knew that nowadays 'Vegas caters to high end shoppers and is loaded with upscale stores. All the better hotels have upscale shops/boutiques and the Forum Shops are pretty well flooded with them.

It's hard to tell how you will be treated if you are a casual browser. People do not dressup much in 'Vegas anymore but knowledgable sales people can tell the difference if you/your family are dressed in Target brands vs. very expensive fashion clothes. You will probably be treated accordingly in most places.

You can also find plenty of "upscale" shopping in the mall at The Venetian.

regardless of what you are or are NOT wearing, if you act confident when you walk into the store, in other words as if you belong there (which is probably a LOT more than some of those barely-out-of-high-school-but-they-know-how-to-act-like-a-snob salestaff folks) you should do just fine.

When you act seriously about possibly buying something they won't care if you shop at Target or not!

I don't know what a "troll" message is, but I asked the question because I genuinely did not know. I have never been to Vegas before and so I don't see how I would know that vegas caters to the upscale. All I hear about Vegas is casino stuff.

As mentioned, you can shop till your heart is content with high end shops at the Bellagio (Moschino is there...my fav), the Wynn, the Mirage has a few, the Venetian, the Forum Shops at CP and if you feel like taking a break from the Strip drive out to the District at Green Valley Ranch, while it is not quite as high end as the others, it is outside and boutique style shopping and is full of restaurants as well. What ever you are looking for you will find here in Vegas.

Lots of upscale stores at the Bellagio: Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Rolex, Tiffany, etc...

I'm more the Desert Passage type shopper, or Fashion Show mall. :-)

All the stores you mentioned are in the Bellagio. Also a new shoe store opened in the hotel too...I don't know the name of it but the selection is fabulous, it is across from Palio coffee shop. There is great shopping at the Forum shops at CP. It is a very easy walk there is a walkway from the Bellagio as it is right next door. Also the customer service is excellent in every store, you will be treated well. I also always receive a personalized thank you note from every store I have shopped in waiting for me when I get home.

Also if you like beauty products, the spa and the salon carry excellent hair and skin products for men and women. I also highly recommend the spa at the Bellagio. It is heaven.

Sorry if it sounded "uppity", I did not mean it that way. I honestly thought that with all the publicity 'Vegas gets these days that it was pretty common knowledge that high end/upscale shopping was the norm at the strip hotels.

As for "Trolls" on this travel board, they frequently ask questions that seem to have obvious answers - not all trolls are rude by any means.

Enjoy 'Vegas, enjoy shopping and be prepared for pretty warm weather in May.

You can get WHATEVER you want in Vegas! Bring tons of $$$ :)

deepimpact..since you bought a Birkin in Atlanta, you might find the shop in Bellagio a bargain LOL
You can go to the Bellagio site and see what shops they have , then do the same with Ceasars, you can see what is in the Forum shops..plenty of high end shopping.
I have a lovely bracelet from Hermes in Bellagio, they treat everyone very nicely, even the large ladies in their muumuus from Ohio .
The jewelry shops in Bellagio are nice and I love the shoe store, across from Olives..
