Update-NYC Tickets for Gypsy
 

To those that have inquired about obtaining tickets for Gypsy, they are now available on line at www.telecharge.com I just bought 2 for opening (preview) night March 31st. Good seats are expensive but I assume the price will only get higher as time gets closer to the event. I wonder if opening night is when other stars preview the shows..?? (this is a 1st for me) Good Luck.

Tina, don't get your hopes up too high for seeing stars that night. The opening night of previews does not draw the biggies. The official opening night does!<BR>Incidentally, don't expect perfection that night, as it will be the first public performance before an audience.

Perhaps things are different here in LA, but here...even at previews it's not uncommon to see movie actors/stars at premiers. By the time a show &quot;officially&quot; opens, it's almost old hat(exagerating)....not familiar with NYC though! I'm a big Bernadette Peters fan though and appreciate the info. I will certainly make sure I see her performance at the NYC Shubert.

In my experience, some stars and other supporters of the show and cast (many of whom receive complimentary tickets) are on had for the &quot;first night&quot;. But, all the really big names and stars are there on the official opening night.<BR><BR>
