Actually, I was simplifying. AAA has owned a majority share of Pleasant Hawaiian since the late 90's, but in 2004 the Hogan family departed completely.

we booked airfare only thru PH a couple of years ago and they used ATA. The trip over was fine, crew was friendly. On way back, we got on plane early, found I had a 3/4 seat, w/o movable armrests and it was too small for a child. I told the head stewardess right away and she was going to check and find something else. She never came back until time to leave and they said they were sorry. It almost looked like they had taken normal seats out and put these in near the middle of the front cabin and many were complaining. I will never fly with them again unless I hear Southwest had fixed those seats!!!!
