Unknown Brewpub Near Stadium
My wife and I visited a brewpub not far from the Bucs stadium in Tampa but we cannot remember the name and we cannot seem to find anything about it online. It was in a strip mall type of place, mixed in with the shops. It was not out as a stand alone in the parking lot. You could hardly tell it was there when we went to it. They did brew onsite and we got the sampler, which was huge. The sampler was like 15 or so beers from what I can remember and they were not small samples. Can anyone help me out?

Here's a few links that may help you out:
http://beeradvocate.com/beerfly/city/69
http://www.ratebeer.com/Places/State/Cities/tampa/9.htm
I've never been to the Bucs stadium, therefore, I'm not familiar with the addresses. However, I'm sure you can narrow it down from those links.

Actually already checked those but will do it again in case I missed something. It is like this place never existed. I can see it in my mind.....
Don't remember how close to the stadium but it was not too far.

Lambics rock!
Perhaps it was Oldsmar Taphouse?
The only true brewery that I know of in Tampa that could offer 15 originals would be Tampa Bay Brewing Company. Cigar City Brewing would be a close second.
Did you happen to come to Orlando? We have two must visits for beer lovers:
Redlight Redlight (local beer bar)
Knightly Spirits ( a bottle store with, IMHO, the best Belgian selection in the Southeast)

I hate lambics.
I'll have to look into Oldsmar. was it in a shopping center?
The place I am trying to find brewed onsite and I remember they had sports on the TV's and I think they had a projection screen. was not real big inside and does not look much like a brewpub from the outside, just blends in with the rest of the shops.

Nope, not Hops or John Harvard. I don't recall it being a chain brewpub. We actually have a Hops not too far from my house in Maryland. Had a Harvards in D.C. but they closed. Only visited it once.

I guarantee it was TBBC. Other online reviewers have commented on 9 - 15 beer samplers (depending on the time of year), they brew on site, and they aren't that far from the stadium. There is a pic of the patio on the site. Also, some pics of the equipment. Those might help "ring a bell".

Lambics are an acquired taste.

I don't think anyone mentioned Tampa Ale House, on Dale Mabry highway, and it isn't too far from the Bucs stadium. That is the place I think you visited. Try googling "Tampa Brew Pubs" and you should find it. Good luck.

Can you check your CC/bank statement online to figure out where you were?
I have not personally had to do that, but I know people who have checked their online bills to figure out what bar they left their card in...

Just went through ratebeer.com and none of them match what I am looking for. The Tampa Ale House looked liked the right location, near the stadium and in a strip mall. If they do or did brew there own beer at one point, we may have found it. One review on pubcrawler said they served the normal Sam Adams, Yuengling, Bud, etc.

I think my wife and I are going to settle on the place being Hoppers Grille & Brewery in Westchase. I e-mailed Cigar City Brewing to see if they could help and from what I described, they said it sounded like Hoppers in Westchase. So, we are going with that. Thanks for all the help.
