Universal Studios - worth a visit again????

Hi everyone,
we went to Universal about 14 years ago.
We will be in LA at the end of the year and are wondering whether it is worth going again?
What is new?
Thanks

Donna, I have not been to the US in LA, I have been to the one in Orlando several times! They are constantly changing and updating attractions! We go about every 3 years and there is always something new! I would definitely go again!

Since you've already been to Universal, why not try the Warner Bros VIP Tour? Warner Bros is nearby to Universal, and in my opionion, is the better tour of a working studio.

Enjoy, whatever you decide.

I think Universal Studios was better 14 years ago than it is today. Yes, there are some new rides, attractions, and shows, but different doesn't necessarily mean better. The same applies to City Walk, which I thought used to be a lot of fun. Not any more. Compared to Disneyland, Knott's, and Magic Mountain, Universal is easily the worst value ticket, IMO.

Thanks for your suggestions.
Haven't been on the Warner Bros tour. I will check it out.

We recently took a Hollywood tour at night and it was great! It stopped at Universal City Walk for a short time - enough to grab a quick bite. The tour guide was excellent and we were the only Americans on the bus. Very fun thing to do if you're into Hollywood at all. And I would skip Universal, too. Haven't been to Calif, but Orlando is tired and worn.
