Universal Studios vs. Islands of Adventure?

I am going to Orlando the end of this month and have to choose between Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure. Just wondering which is more worth going to? I am interested in knowing which has the better rides...This is a limited visit, so I have to choose between one or the other, can't do both, unfortunately!

Islands of Adventure, if you're into rides this is the place. See my post about Best Ever Theme Park Ride (Spiderman at IOA)

Islands of Adventure...especially for roller coasters.

Thanks for the suggestion to Islands of Adventure. I did read the message posted about the Spiderman ride. That's what I'm looking for is fun roller coaster rides. I think this is where I'm going instead of Universal Studios!

Kris

This is a hard one. I wish you could do/see both. I'd say Island of Adventure if you like roller coasters etc.. This is more like an Amusement Park. Universal Studios has more simulated rides.. There both nice..
Have fun

I'd pick Universal Studios. I've been to both, and was disappointed with IofA. Too many of the rides were "kids only," and we were just 2 adults without kids. We got to the park when it opened around 10am and left, having been on every ride we could go on, at 2! We thought for sure we'd be there till closing. The rides we went on were good, but we absolutely LOVED Universal Studios and I'd go there again in a heartbeat.

I vote IOA, esp for spiderman. DO go on the Cat in the Hat ride in Dr. Seuss land, it is the book come to life, and swings around enough to give you a rush. I love it more than my kids. You may want to do it several times to see all the neat things. Also, if you plan to return sometime, you can buy a multi-day pass to both parks that would let you park-hop, they never expire and you can use unused days on your next visit. That is what we did - used one day in 99 & did IOA, and another day did favorites at IOA & some of Universal in 2000.
