Universal Studios HELP

I would like to know how many days does it take to do Universal Studios. Or is one day enough if you do not do all the rides?
Help going mid october trying to plan a head
Florida or Los Angeles? I am only familiar with L.A. and am of the opinion that one full day is sufficient for the attractions and shows. You may not cover it all, but what is left is not enough to warrant a return the next day.

You'll need one day for the Studios, and another day (separate ticket, I understand), for Universal Islands of Adventure - their new park. You may also want to spend some time at the new Citiwalk shopping, clubs, restaurants - no admission fee required to shop and eat. This is for Florida, and assuming you're not going at a peak crowd period. The very best advice is to arrive before the park opens and head for the most popular rides.

You need at least 2 days, and perhaps 3 if you come at a busy time when the lines for specific rides can take 90 minutes. If, as you say, you do not do all the rides, 2 days is fine. The park sells what they call a "universal studios escape" pass that allows you to go to the two parks,IOA (Islands of Adventure) lots of roller costers etc., and the original universal studios park in the same day. You can purchase a 2 or 3 day pass, they do not sell 1 day passes. They have also added "City Walk" which is a variety of theme restaurants. This is free with your parking. Any questions...just ask.

Florida experience- We bought a 2-day Universal Studios Escape pass. You can also get it for more days, and it never expires, you can use the days whenever you want. We did Islands of Adventure in one day, and saw everything- LOVED Seuss Land & Toon Landing & HULK coaster. We saved the second day to use next year on our return. My kids are 5 & 12, the 12 yo & her dad did Universal Studios the year before & took 2 days. You can get slightly discounted Escape passes in advance through AAA or your credit union or travel agent. Also check out combo ticket for Universal, Islands of adventure, Sea World, & Busch Gardens Tampa (1 hour drive from Orlando).
