Universal Studios for Overweight People?

Can anyone tell me how restrictive the rides are for people who are overweight? Personal experience would be very helpful -- my husband loves rollercoasters, but if the over-the-shoulder restraints won't close, that won't be very fun at all.

I suggest that you go to the park websites and ask that personally, giving all your info (you don't want to start a thread wherein everyone says to "lose the weight," right? things have gotten that way lately...) HOwever, I would say that might be several "iffy" rides for the truly large, especially the new rollercoasters that have dropdown chest bars. Others have contoured seats--the dueling dragons at Universal, for example, could be very uncomfortable for one with a large posterior.

Both the Hulk and Dueling Dragons have one row of seats for larger people. They have a double strap to help the overhead harness stay closed. Go to www.disboards.com and scroll down to the Universal forums for loads of help.
