Universal Studios (CA) advice needed
We are taking my 7-year-old daughter to Universal Studios. She’s not interested in anything too scary and she mostly wants Harry Potter. I’ve never been there. Any advice? We are thinking of going on a Monday in the next few weeks.

it's mostly simulation rides, and I'd say they Skew maybe 10 years old and up. Not exactly scary but definitely too "thrilling" and loud for a 7 year old. Enjoy the Harry Potter stuff and a couple of the stunt shows and the tram tour and then head to maybe the California Science Center or the LA Zoo for the rest of the day.

I haven't been to Universal Studios in years, but I'm sure clarkgriswold is correct that the rides are loud and border on sensory overload for a tender 7 y.o.
If you want to spend some time in a museum, in the same area as the Science Center is the L.A. County Natural History Museum. Depending on your daughter's interests, she may find it more interesting/fun than the Science Center. Exhibits include beautiful, old-school dioramas, dinosaur fossils, sea shells, a butterfly house (spring/summer), a hummingbird feeding station, a 3-D movie on ocean life, and more. Both museums are easy to reach by metro (Expo Line) from Santa Monica and DTLA. https://nhm.org/site/ https://californiasciencecenter.org/ |
We’ve been to the science center, zoo, natural history museum, etc.
I’m looking for suggestions on order to see thing, what shouldn’t be missed, information on the wands/window set up. Thank you! |
Won't recommend Universal studios and especially Harry Potter world to children below a certain height (mentioned on website) as the child will not be able to sit on those rides
