Universal Royal Pacific spa

Does anyone know if they have a spa at the Royal Pacific Universal hotel in Florida. My daughter is graduating from Nursing school on June 19th, on the 22 we are headed to Universal for a few days. I would like to book a spa treatment for her. Do you know if Universal has this service, how expensive, and is it any good? Will she be pampered???

thank you.

The Royal Pacific only offers massages. Portofino Bay has a full service spa, and I think you can take the ferry from one resort to the other.

Yes, I know you can take the boat but was not sure about the spa/massage. Did you see it online or you know about it by going?

I found it online. I have only been to the Hard Rock Hotel, with three young kids and no spas.

me too. Stayed at the Hard Rock last year wanted to try a different hotel this year so it is the Royal Pacific. If we go next year will try the Porofino. Not impressed wthi Hard Rock, it was okay.

try checking out the Loews Hotels website to check the ammenities at their hotels, Royal Pacific, Hard Rock and Portofino. Or you could call them. We've stayed at Royal Pacific twice and you can ride the water taxi to the Portofino.

I e mailed them, and am waiting for a reply. I am not ging until the end of June but want to find out now.

Sherrie, did you like the Royal Pacific? I think price wise it is the Royal Pacific, Hard Rock, and then the Portafino. We stayed at the Hard Rock but could not get into the Porafino the days we wanted. setteled for the Royal Pacific

Portofino Spa: I have been to this spa and found it wanting. It was about 16 months ago so perhaps they have done something to it. I had occasion to stay in the Royal Pacific for an extended period of time and wrote this review. I had to change my name as I was hounded off this site for a poor review I gave here and on Chowhound.

I read your review and thought it to be good. Who hounded you? I am going to book outside of the site and get a spa treatment for her in the Tamatac area instead (our next stop_

Thank you all for your help.

re: Who hounded you? No one from Fodors. But the name became a problem for me after that and so the corresponding email address needed to go. Honoria

Good to know who LMF is now. Thanks for letting us know.

Thought the name sounded familiar so checked and read the Wikipedia description. This made me smile -
"She is of a rather muscular, sporty temperament, and as such remains unattached".

Someone was asking about you on a Tampa thread a while back. Glad you are still with us!

I'm actually nothing like the PG Woodhouse Jeeves and Wooster character (who was always chasing Bertie Wooster with an eye towards marriage) but I love the name. Bertie Wooster called her the Glossop Menace. Hmmm. Perhaps I am muscular, now that I have a personal trainer...still a spa junkie. Not around Fodors much anymore.
