Allearsnet.com has a lot of info. All Disney parks have the Fast Pass and you don't have to stay on site to use it. Go to allearsnet.com/tp/fastpass.htm |
There's no comparison between Disney's FastPass and Universal's Express Pass. The Fastpass reserves you a time to return and ride without waiting in a long queue (Universal offers the same thing for free). Express Pass offers you a separate [short] queue at virtually every attraction, and you can enter immediately and as often as you wish. We noticed that using Universal's version of the Fastpass you could only reserve a [very] few attractions per day. With its Express Pass your endurance is the limit.

mcmckissic,
Unfortunately, Disney does not sell any type of FastPass. Easter is brutal a Disney. Just get there early and do what you want. Get a Fast Pass for later and good luck. Staying on site at Universal is the way to go. Just show that room key and get in the express entrance. Go to www.disboards.com for great info on Disney and Universal. |
Anyone familiar with Express Plus? If I read it right, you purchase it for $15.95 and it is good for 1 day, 1 turn at each major attraction, and you get right in. You have to purchase on-line, but it doesn't say if it is available during Easter. If it is, we could still stay at the Dolphin for the $169 teacher's rate and use Express Plus.

The price of the Express Plus varied by the seasons. It costs more during busy times. I believe it goes as high as $35 or so. Check on Disboards or Universal Orlando's websites to see the price for your dates. I would imagine it would be in the $30 range during Easter. By the way, that's for one park. It's cost more to get a combo for both US and IOA.

When is "Spring break" in 2005?

Spring Break starts March 20 and goes for about three weeks. Long enough to cover the spring breaks of most colleges!
