Universal or Discovery Cove
 

We will be in orlando for 4 days and have to choose between discovery cove/seaworld/aquatica and Universal/islands of adventure/volcano bay. Any advice? Kids are 12, 10, and 8; staying at Residence Inn near Sea World. Thanks in advance!

You would know what your kids like better than we would. If they are Harry Potter fans go with Universal.

Are you already going to SeaWorld? If so, then Discovery Cove might be overkill (or you might just want to go to Discovery Cove ... although it's considerably more expensive than SeaWorld).

But I'd consider Universal a don't-miss if your kids are Harry Potter fans. The parks themselves require the much more expensive park-hopper option if you want to take the Hogwarts Express between them, and that makes Universal considerably more expensive than the cheapest ticket for Discovery Cove. I think that makes it a harder decision.
