Universal & Disney Orlando

Going over there in 2 weeks. Are there any discounts/deals on at the moment?

Go to www.mousesavers.com for savings. The person that runs this site finds deals in places you would never beleive.

Universal's website is offering some ticket specials.
I assume you already have your hotel booked. The Universal hotels offer the Entertainment rates, but you have to book them early as they run out. For great info on both Disney and Universal go to www.disboards.com Scroll down--there are message boards for Disney and further down is Universal.

Definitely go to disboards.com for a lot of valuable information and mouseseavers.com for codes you can use at Disney World. At Universal, you will want to ask for the Entertainment Rate. If the Entertainment rate is available for the days you are going, make the reservation and then get an Entertainment Book, so you will have the card in case they ask you for it at check in. For example, the Entertainment rate at Portofino Bay Hotel (garden view) is $150. Bay view is $170 and Deluxe Pool view is $180. These are great rates for this hotel. Hard Rock and Royal Pacific also have Entertainment rates that are even better.

Also, just in case you don't know, if you stay on-site at Universal (Portofino, Hard Rock or Royal Pacific), you get to go into the Express Line for rides at the parks. You do not stand in line with all the others - you go to the front!! This is a great perk. Because of this, I would recommend doing Disney World first. You do not want to go to Universal first, because once you go to the front of the line, you will find it very annoying to stand in line at Disney World. If you do Disney first, you have front of the line to look forward to at Universal!

Have fun!
