Unique Activities in Hawaii
So, with the help of this forum, I was able to decide to visit Hawaii during the winter. Since I'm going there now I ask, what are the truly unique experiences I can enjoy there? Like the activites I won't get elsewhere. I ask this mostly because it'll be a kinda short trip. 3 nights 4 days trip. I want to cover as much as I can. So, please do suggest some unique activities that I can experience there. Thanks a lot.

Where are you going in Hawaii? Which island? What city/town are you staying? Are you renting a car?

From your other post, looks like you've chosen Maui. If you are only going for three nights, you want a direct flight to Maui, as changing in Honolulu takes a good while and you will need to go back that way as well.

Whale watching excursion.
ATV tour. We used Maui Off Road Adventures (https://www.mauioffroadadventures.co...atv-adventure/) We also did a helicopter tour once. It was phenomenal. Of course, a luau would also be unique to Hawaii, although I've never gone to one personally. |
Mauna Kea Observatories is one of the best stargazing stations in the world. With no light pollution, no air pollution, and dry weather, stargazing here is definitely very moving, and it is also very good for watching the sunset.

I was going to suggest Mauna Kea also as that really is unique. You can see whales in lots of places in US, actually.
But that's on the Big Island. They have some tours for that stargazing, makes it easy. https://maunakea.com/ https://www.lovebigisland.com/stargazing/ My niece went on one later than sunset as described on second link. I think it was real late, like midnight or something. That second ad by EPIC tours says it is 8 pm to 4 am. COuld have been like that, although not sure I could do that. |
So if this question is for only 3/4 days and on Maui???
