UNCROWDED VEGAS

WE WOULD LIKE TO GO WHEN MOST OTHERS ARE NOT. WHEN IS THE BEST TIME FOR FEWER CROWDS, ESPECIALLY ON FREMONT STREET?

You are kidding-right? Vegas is always busy but that's what makes it Vegas! I suppose there are down times but down time for Vegas is probably not what you invisioning.

I just went mid-week earlier this month and found it to be crowd free. It was a bit chilly, but no lines and plenty of tables to choose from.

Colder weather, mid-week, no major conventions in town...otherwise, things tend to be crowded

Now is the time to go. Just got back from a week-long business meeting, and except for tickets to "O" just about everything was available on a walk-up basis, or via a phone call around noon the same day. Not sure why you want Fremont Street, specifically -- most of the "sites" and action is on the Strip now. You'll see it when your plane lands. It's hard not to notice a scale-sized NY skyline and a big black glass pyramid with a Sphinx in front.

Another good time to go is the first 2 weeks in December as lots of people go for Christmas/New Year time frame.
Again, very little lolling around the pool but fewer people and lower prices for hotels.
As always, for the lowest rates stay Sunday thru Thursday nights and avoid major convention times.
Use the SEARCH function for Las Vegas. There is one post with a collection of helpful websites on that adult Disneyland.
