Two in Las Vegas for Anniversary

My husband and I are going to Las Vegas for our eighth anniversary. It's our first vacation and we are very excited!!!! We are going to be staying at Harrah's Hotel. We have heard good and bad things about the hotel but mostly good. Any Information on that would be great. Also, we are going in June. How hot is it in June? Is it mostly casual dress in the casinos? We heard the Rio was the best seafood buffet around, but how expensive is it? We want to take in as much as we can for the six days that we are there and we would appreciate any information that you could give us on what to go see and what not to waste our time on. Thanks. Also, is the shopping real expensive or is it affordable. Especially at the Caesar Forum Shops. Thanks Again, Doug and Kathy.

We were in as Vegas last Memorial Day week, it was in the 80's at thay time, June will pobably be 90's. Seems dress is very casual even at shows Sunday to Thursday, However on the week-end anything goes as far as fashion is concerned. People did drees up more for Casino restaurants that required reservations, the kind that only open at 5pm. Harrahs is in a great location for walking to Miarage, Trasure Island, Ceasers, Imperial, Flamingo, and Ballys. From Ballys you can take the tram to the MGM and the south end Casinos and shops. The shops in Ceasers Forum are wonderful to explore but they are pricey. There are all levels of shopping in Las Vegas from the standards to the unique. Never a lack of Casinos to explore, shows to see, and places to shop. Visit www. a1-lasvegas-wt.com to see current visitore guide.

Hello. I was in Vegas in July last year and it was hot, hot, hot! Around 100+ each day. For great shopping try the outlets at the end of the strip. We found luggage to be very cheap if you need any new suitcases etc. Factory Brand Shoes/Famous Footware have great shoe prices. Eating anywhere in Vegas is a real treat. We ate at the Las Vegas Hilton, The Luxor's Phaoroh's Pheast and at Excalibur. All of the meals were great and fantastic value at around 5-6 dollars for all you can eat. Have a great time in Las Vegas it really is a wonderland.

If you're planning to see any shows, I highly recommend "Mystere" which is at the Treasure Island hotel. Tickets are just about $60 and worth every cent! It's just amazing and so beautiful! Also, the view from the top of the Stratosphere is nice, but beware...we waited in line for about 20 minutes just to ride the elevator back down! I guess it all depends what time you go there...we went just as the sun was setting and all the hotel lights turn on...very beautiful!
