Two Days in San Antonio

It turns out that San Antonio is so much more than The Alamo! We had two lovely days there. Stayed on the River Walk at The Mokara, which turned out to be a very fine choice. We had two very fine and memorable dinners while we were there - photos and details here: https://polloplayer.wordpress.com/20...n-san-antonio/

We were very pleased with what we saw of San Antonio - if you are ever in "the neighborhood" (yes, Texas is a BIG state!) it is definitely worth a stop. We also did a brief side trip to Fredericksburg, which I also recommend: https://polloplayer.wordpress.com/20...em-thar-hills/

Wow, those food pictures! I presume they were as delicious as they looked? Thanks for sharing.

The food was amazing.

I know that Austin is having a big moment and we had just come from four days there where we had INCREDIBLE bbq but San Antonio is special, too!
