Tuscany-inspired accomodations in Ca. wineries..

We are just beginning the research for a 5 to 7 day California winery tour instead of our trip to Italy that we take every other year. I saw in a travel magazine (Conde Nast) a story of some winery that looked like a Tuscan villa with the vineyards stretched out before it. I want to stay at a place that not only grows the grapes, but makes the wine and is beautiful to look at. Does that place exist...outside of Italy? If so, please tell me about it. Many thanks.

By the way, we are going in Oct.

Check out Ferrari Carrano in the Dry Creek region. See the link for a virtual visit.
http://www.mediadesign-mds.com/panorama/ferrari1.htm
