"Turtleneck weather" yet?

I will be in the NJ area from the 12th of oct to the 18th. I'm longing for some cooler weather. Is it cool enough to wear turtlenecks?

Hard to tell, that is a ways off, but certainly so far up here in Boston, not a hint of such weather yet.

Why not check weather.com?

SAnParis2 Oct 1st, 2008 06:08 PM

In my humble opinion, there is NO good reason, or time to wear those dastardly items.

Oh, I love them!
No matter how the weather will be, I'm bringing them:-)

I'm sure you'll be glad you did.

I'm in Detroit and just flicked the switch from cool to heat in the house. It was in the 50's today.

schnookies... I am sure hoping it is cooler.. it was almost 100 around here STILL today - I am going to be in that area as well during that time period - hoping for cooler weather.

I did check Weather.com - and it looks like RAIN when I am there!

schnookies Oct 1st, 2008 07:41 PM

Oh no, I could do without the rain. Let's hope for some cooler weather though:-)

Definitely... I'm in NYC and wore one last weekend. My black turtleneck is my favorite article of clothing... sad.. but true.

cigalechanta Oct 2nd, 2008 11:17 AM

It is very cold and windy today here in Boston and I just bought a black turtleneck!

mrsd2fan Oct 2nd, 2008 03:46 PM

I thought for sure it was going to snow today here in the Central NY area (Syracuse),..it was chilly!

schnookies Oct 2nd, 2008 03:57 PM

Good to hear! I love turtlenecks and I'm not leaving home without them:-)

karens Oct 2nd, 2008 04:13 PM

Yes, I think you will be glad you have them. Today's high (in nearby PA) was in the low 60s, and that's how it's going to be for a while.
