ttt???????????

Message: I can't stand it any longer: What do ttt and topping? mean?

It bring the thread back up to the top of the board in an effort for posters to see the post and post if they have a response. ttt means "to the top"

makai1 Mar 6th, 2005 11:23 AM

ttt = to the top
topping = to the top
reason: to move a thread to the #1 position (the top)

Thanks. Sorry to be so dumb, but I could not figure it out.

don't feel too bad lyntom I wasn't sure either, knew what topping meant & bump, (haven't seen it here but on tripadvisor they use it) but couldn't figure out what ttt meant! I was going to ask, you beat me to it

Hi lyntom, I noticed you had another thread regarding this subject.

When you want to read you thread question and the answers, you do not need to repost.

Just click on your name, which is on the upper left of the Fodors screen, and your first thread will come up. Then you will see your first thread and the Fodorites answers to it.

Hope this helps!

ttt got a special workout yesterday because someone had posted a thread with a super-long title that "broke" the board and made the formatting ridiculous. So, in an effort to get the troublesome post to sink below #50 and thus off the first page, lots of posts got "TTT's" to rise above it.
