Tropical
I am planning a trip for November 2001 and would like to stay in the U.S. but am looking for a warm place with many things to see and do. Nightlife is also a plus! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

New Orleans or Miami

I agree Miami, Hollywood and Ft. Lauderdale is very tropical and lots of nightlife to offer - the beaches are fun - the ocean is gorgeous - if you want Florida tropics. But, to me that is all there is to offer, lying by the pool, beach, fishing if you like that type of activity, and nightlife....but....

New Orleans is on the cooler side in November (still warm), but you cannot get more of a nightlife that is 24 hours a day!!! as in the Big Easy - food, drink, music, party after party....just watch out for the crowd at Thanksgiving - it is the Bayou Classic - and that can get daunting if you get stuck in a crush on Bourbon Street.....but it is still loads of fun. You can even go to the casino and gamble. I went to New Orleans last November and rented an apartment in the French Quarter - it was the best time!

What about San Juan, Puerto Rico?

Marie:

You have to go to either Fort Lauderdale and Miami. If you go to Miami - there are many Cuban restaurants and dance clubs. I'll guarantee you little rain and plenty of sunshine w/temps in the 80s. I LOVE SOUTH FLORIDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Key West! Key West! Key West!

Warm weather, great nightlife, restaurants, shopping, snorkeling and just plain kicking back!

Key West has my vote!

For tropical feel in the US, definitely Kew West
