When you say nice places do you mean nice towns/things to do? Do you mean nice hotels/resorts?
What sort of activities do you enjoy?
When are you going/do you want beach?
What is you hotel budget per night - and is this per room for two rooms or are you looking for suites all of you could share?

Providence is a great city to visit. Go to www.projo.com to see when "waterfire" is scheduled. The city lights caldrons on fire all along the canal that goes thru the city and it's great to see.
How can you pass up Boston? Between the history and the nightlife, you can't go wrong. Cape cod is beautiful, but a zoo in the summertime. Provincetown ("P-town") is especially pretty. Be aware that it is primarily a gay community. If that bothers you, don't go. If it doesn't, don't miss it.

Sorry about the mistake, Yessss I meant East Coast, the budget is kind of open excluding the really very expensive places.
They enjoy the beaches, little towns with art galleries and little shops to brouse, some activities, and time to relax and enjoy the scenery.
