What is the economic and easy way from LGA to the Quality Hotel Times Square. (two people)And how long it will takes.
Where is the best place for dim sum (cart service) in China town?
Also, shall we take the cab or subway to get to the China Town, WTC, area?

You can take Supershuttle for $15 or $16, not sure how much it is for more than 1 person. Check out www.supershuttle.com

It will take you door-to-door, shared van.

Or you can take the M60 bus from LGA to W. 125th St and Lenox Ave. Then take the 2 or 3 train to Times Square. This will cost about $4 each.

Not sure about Dim Sum.

You can just take the subway to Chinatown and WTC, esp if you are looking for the most economic route.

Cabs from LaGuardia are not that costly. It is the cabs from JFK and Newark which are expensive.

The cab from LaGuardia, is probably the easiest way to get to the hotel and I'd think the price will be around $30 plus toll and tip, maybe a bit less.

The bus is also a good suggestion, from LGA I have taken it, it's a long trip, but some great views of the city, and the price would be $2.00pp ask for a transfer if paying in cash or see if you can buy a metro card somewhere at the airport or online at www.mta.com

Chinatown, you will get lots of responses to the best, but my favorite is on Mott St just south of Canal at the Mandarin Ct., or HSF on the Bowery, both are very good and reasonable.

Get a map of the subway system and you can pick up bus maps on most buses free, so you have an idea of how to get where you are going the easiest way.

You can walk to the WTC area from Chinatown, walk west on Canal St to Broadway and turn left and head downtown. You will pass the Woolworth Building, City Hall and just behind St. Paul's Chapel (which will be on your right) is the WTC. Building #7 was just reopend last year and the new center is being rebuilt. The globe that stood at the heart of the complex is on display, damaged, but still standing a little further south of the complex, in Battery Park, and there is a memorial there, you might want to visit.

How long it will take if we choose the bus/subway and how long it take by cab.

The ONLY way for 2 or more people with luggage to travel is a taxi. Super Shuttle is absolutely positively a TERRIBLE idea. They are slow, undependable and not safe. Taking a bus and subway is a waste of time especially with luggage. You will have to do stairs with the luggage.

Get in an official YELLOW NYC taxi (go to the taxi line outside the terminal). Do NOT accept a ride from anyone who approaches you. The dispatcher at the front of the line will give you a receipt. SAVE IT. It has the number of the taxi should you leave something by mistake or have a problem, you can locate the taxi. Tell the driver where you are going (not the name of the hotel). Have the street and cross street. If you don't know, look it up on mapquest.com

A taxi will take about 30 mins. +/-depending on traffic. You will pay the meter plus a tip of 15-20% but the total shouldn't be more than about $35 for up to 4 people.

To get from the Quality Hotel to Chinatown, take a subway. Go to hopstop.com and you will get detailed directions.

Do NOT tke the Supershuttle- they are VERY unreliable - often late (drive you around in traffic for an hour dropping people at other hotels) and sometimes do not come at all.

For 2 people taxi is the best bet. It will cost $30 to $35 - no more than the shuttle for 2.

If you really want to save money you can take a public city bus to 125th st and then transfer to the subway. However, you will have to haul your luggage up and down several flights of stairs and along long passageways - and there is no place on the subway to put it. Also - if near rush hour the subway can be mobbed (think sardines in a can).
