Trip planner website for NYC??

Many cities have a "trip planner" website where you can enter your starting point and destination and tells you the best route (subway/el, bus line, etc...) to get to your destination. Is there a website like this for NYC? THANKS!!

Hope this helps...

www.hopstop.com should be what you're looking for.

Do check out the official MTA subway and bus maps to confirm directions, though.

Be aware that hopstop has some issues.

For subways it lists only one entrance - but many of the major ones have several entrances - often a couple of blocks closer to where you are.

For walking it uses only roads that allow vehicles. Not an issue for most of the city but a big problem with Central Park (it will take you many blocks out of the way) and to some extent smaller parks and promenades without roads.
