Trip ideas

The fiancee and I now have our criteria for a honeymoon.

a)relaxed country (or country-like) setting
b)ideally, we'd like to take the dogs.
c) there must be a spa somewhere. I insist on getting a massage.
d) We'd like there to be some sightseeing available
e) We'd like it to be within driving range (1 to 1.5 days from KCMO)

Any ideas?

You might repost this with a real question and location in the title if you want lots of people to open it and offer ideas.

Some useful info you can include would be:

What time of year are you going?

What is your budget; as in do you want a motel in the country or 5 star resort?

What kind of sightseeing do you like?

Museums, art galleries? Or hiking, parks, or water with the dogs?

And is KCMO kansas city?

Sorry I can't give any answers, but hopefully you'll get a better response with a better request!

perhaps a spa resort that allows dogs (I don't know if there are any), in or near santa fe. It's not exactly country like, more like small town like, but relaxed, and has good sight-seeing in the general area.

I just did a quick google on santa fe dog spa and found Ten Thousand Waves Japanese Spa and Resort, and Eldorado Spa and Hotel.

They both seem to get mostly very good reviews on tripadvisor (each has a negative thrown in, but mostly very positive).
