Trident in Sausalito?
 

Years (and years) ago, we had lunch at the Trident in Sausalito. It was a great place, any chance it still exists?

Hi annieladd, I am almost postive that the Trident no longer exsist. If I am wrong some Marin County resident will correct me..I too use to enjoy having lunch there.

I think its called Horizons now- will be there this weekend and check it out

This place has changed hands more times than...

However, the food remains mediocre.

For a better experience in Sausalito, try the Spinnaker restaurant.

Oh yeah, the Trident in the mid-70's - the musicians living in Marin who made it their hang out (think Janis, think Carlos), the Porsches and Jags in the parking lot, the waitresses/groupies, etc. .... god what a long time ago.

Dovima- I think I was there even before Janis and Carlos-I was hanging out there in the late 60's- now THAT is really a long time ago.
Last time I was there we were out on the deck and a speedboat with some beautiful California girls came speeding by several times - suddenly everyone on the deck realized the girls were topless -- they were waving to everyone and having a great time -
pretty funny!

I never even heard of this place!
