Go west of DC about 40 minutes to a town called Leesburg (off rt 7). In the middle of town there is a Restaurant called Tuscarora Mill. Great food, atmosphere (an old grain mill) and a trendy local pub in the front.

If your husband wants to try something different, goto an Ethiopian restaurant in Adams Morgan. Unique food, good prices, and a fun dining experience. Mostly beef, lamb &amp; chicken dishes. <BR><BR>There are 3 or 4 Ethiopian places in Adams Morgan; my personal favorite is Meskerem. <BR><BR>For a funky meal try Fuzio's Universal Pasta in Dupont Circle. I would suggest Persimmon in Bethesda, MD. Not far from DC on Wisconsin Avenue. It's fairly new, and the food is excellent!
