Treasure Island... which rooms?

We're staying one night at TI in May. Got a $65 deal (and we're going just to enjoy the buffet at the Bellagio en route from a conference in UT the week before)! Question: We'd like a quiet room. Any recommendations on what room location at TI to request? Also, how's their pool?
Thanks!

Hi, Alex, I always ask for a high floor, away from the elevators and coke machine/ice machine, which is usually near the elevators.
Haven't stayed at TI but this is my rule of thumb, usually get a quieter room that way.Have fun!

You know, Alex, as I think about it, I've never experienced difficulty with noisy rooms in LV.
The hotels are high rises and seems I'm always on upper floors. So casino and street noise is never an issue.
Just stay away from elevators and ice machines. That's a simple request the hotel should almost always be able to honor.

Alex,
I just got back from TI this past Saturday. It was great! We were on the 12th floor and really had no problem whatsoever with noise, kids, people, etc. There is some seperate elevators that are specifically for upper floors so you might want to ask for an upper floor possibly because the lower ones might have kids, younger crowd, etc. in it. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Alex, we stayed on the 34th floor, overlooking the Mirage, where the volcano erupts every 20 minutes. It was very quiet, yet very scenic. We really enjoyed being up high!

Noise isn't a problem there (well maybe if you are too close and low to the pirate show - I've never been too close, I've been high over it and no problem with noise. It is fun to watch). I would try to get a high room overlooking the strip for the lights at night.

I really like this hotel - great value, great location, good rooms. I stay here often. I like the breakfast buffet. You got a good deal.

Enjoy.
