Traverse City. area
 

We are doing a one week. road trip through the UP, Mac. Island and ending up at the GRR airport to fly home. I've got much of it figured out which I'll share when final but thinking how many days/nights are recommended for the Traverse City, Mission Peninsula ,Leelanau peninsula? We like to bike and shop a bit and mostly explore. Thank you

Gretchen Now I'm getting so confused after reading different posts. I'm thinking maybe we should stay on Mak Island on the quiet side and then take a more lesurely drive to the Traverse city area the next day , stopping at Petrosky and Charlesvoix? Do you have any thoughts on this? thank you
