Travelling from Seattle to Vancouver

We are taking a cruise out of Vancouver and are flying into Seattle for a few days. What are some economical ways to travel from Seattle to Vancouver??
Thanks

The train is probably the best, also fairly inexpensive. One train a day, leaves Seattle 7:45 AM. See the Amtrak Cascades website.

There are also buses - Greyhound, Shuttle Express (from the airport), Amtrak buses (all the best of the bus and Amtrak - whoopee) and rental cars. The rental agencies charge a premium for the international drop, but with 2 or more pax it becomes pretty cost effective. Plenty of freedom, of course.

Try flying. I have flown Alaska Airlines' (www.alaskaair.com) commuter Horizon Air between Seattle and Vancouver many times. They price is low ($150~) and it only takes 45 minutes and it is a beautiful flight up the coast in a Dehavilland Dash 8.

The Train-Amtrak costs only $23.00 per person. It's a 4 1/2 hour ride thru beautiful country.

We enjoy taking Amtrak in the northwest. The train seats are roomy and the views are good. Some trains have movies on them. It's a great way to travel. The only problem is that the trains can run late, so I'd allow plenty of time at the other end.
