tom - when does the road From Crater Lake to Roseburg - along the Upper Rogue - 138 is it - usually open up?

BTW - my old classmates in Klamath Falls say it has been a late winter. Spring? A bit here and there and then - more winter. Oh - I miss that at times.

Rt. 138 is open all the way from US 97 101 miles to Roseburg even though when I drove it in early May it did snow a bit while I was on my way to Medford. The north entrance to Crater Lake (to 138) will not open until the first week of July.
I haven't been to Seattle since August 20, 2011. I drove past PDX to avoid the downtown Portland traffic.
Yesterday (6/5) there was a dusting of snow on my front porch when I woke up.

Tomsd--Earlier in this thread you said it was 2 1/2 hours between Portland and Seattle. Current and accurate information is what is important here.
