travel websites- onetravel.com

Does anyone have any experience with onetravel.com? Sidestep directed me to their site where they are offering a price for a specific roundtrip between Charlotte, NC and St. Thomas that is $200 below any other site. They will only say that the flight is on a "label carrier", but by the flight times and the fact that it is nonstop I know that it is the US Air flight that I want. Onetravel.com gets 7 terrible reviews on epinions but the reviewers' problems don't seem to apply here. Thanks!

I have used OneTravel for car rentals 3 or 4 times without a problem, the last time this May.

Don't believe the price until you actually see the confirmation screen.

I've bought from them before and got my tickets and all that. It's been a couple of years though. More recently, I saw prices that were well under everyone else's. Go through the whole process, keying in name, address and cc # to find it telling me that those tickets aren't available. It then raised the prices slightly. Did this a bunch of times until my fingers were tired and the prices were as high or higher than the competitive booking sites. 3 days later, the original routes and prices that caught my eye were still appearing.

Could have just been the route that I wanted, but I've heard the same sort of thing from others.

I had a similar experience to what Clifton describes. It was extremely frustrating- I would go through the entire process, and poof- the fare is gone. Over and over and over. If you can actually book it though, good for you.
