Johnnie, take your Ritalin! Stop getting so excited...of course, Septa buses have to stop at lights, but it's easier being a passenger than a driver...on the bus, you can read, stare out the window, listen to your CD player, sleep if you feel like it. And you don't have to hunt for a parking space when you get there. Remember, Nic simply asked whether there was a way to get to KOP from Philly without hiring a car. And there is: the bus. The question was NOT whether taking the bus met with the approval of shallow temperamental snobs in Manayunk.

I LOVE the King of Prussia Mall! (I'm from South Jersey and still go there a lot)

Listen, driving there is easy: Take the Schuylkyll X-way toward Valley Forge, get off at the KOP Mall exit, right before the PA Turnpike. Could not be simpler!

Check out the Web site:

Don't miss lunch at Bertolini's (make a right into the mall coming out of Nordstrom, or a left coming out of Neiman Marcus. It's right above the doors that take you to the walkway to the Court.) Fantastic Italian food; you forget you are in a mall!

FYI, for the art connoisseur, King of Prussia now has a complete gallery devoted to the works of Thomas Kinkade. That means you can also come in a mini van.

Fodor's continues to mystify. They resurrect this ancient post (from Dec. 3) and delete current ones.
