Travel time - Mexican Hat to Boulder

I'm trying to get a feel for how long it would take to drive from Mexican Hat to Boulder. Probably via Hite and Torrey - unless there is a faster route.

Thanks

Mapquest sends you up rte163 to 261 (Moki Dugway) to 95 past Natural Bridge to 24 to Rte 12. It says its about 215 miles and will take 4 1/2 hrs. This is a very scenic route and a stop at Natural Bridge is recommended. If you're staying in Boulder, we also recommend (highly) having a meal at Hell's Backbone Grill - a truly special place. You can also take Rte 276 to Lake Powell and ferry over to Bullfrog and 95 to Hanksville, but I think the other route is quicker and more interesting.

Thanks Sharondi.

Is Boulder "dry" - ie no alcohol? Or am I confusing it with somewhere else?

The delightful ladies who run Hell's Backbone were able to convince the town to allow them a liquor license and they have a great wine list. The restaurant is at the Boulder Mountain Lodge, which is also very nice.
