Traveling to Laporte Indiana from Jamestown ny.....want to avoid interstate 90 .Is there a route to take to avoid Cleveland ..Trying to research highway 6 or 20 west .having trouble mapping the route on map quest in Cleveland

Why are you trying to avoid Cleveland? You'll zoom past in ten minutes on the interstate.
Is it because they put chili on their spaghetti?

Whoa. They do that in Cleveland? I thought that was mainly Cincinatti.

Try I-79 south from Erie and take US 62 to Hermitage and then south on PA 18 to get to I-80.
I-80 and I-90 join west of Cleveland.
Last meal I ate in Cleveland was at the Big Egg which was a very good breakfast.

Thanks tom...any information on route 6?

US 6 goes through Cleveland. The Heritage route avoids Youngstown.
