Like many people on this board, I have been increasingly disappointed with the Travel Channel over the last several years. I have posted messages on their web page many times telling them how sick I am of poker shows, Vegas bathrooms, and haunted hotels. I think they are finally listening to us, as the TC's programming has improved lately. There is another thread going about Anthony Bourdain, whom I really like, but what about Cash Peters? His show is a little off-beat, but I think he's funny as heck. So far I have found all of his shows to be quite entertaining, even if the places he visits are not high on my list of things to do. What does everyone else think?

P.S. If you like these shows, please let the Discovery Channel know. If we don't voice our opinions, they will go back to torturing us with more Vegas garbage.

I haven't checked out Cash Peters yet, although I've enjoyed all the other new shows (yes, even 5 Takes!).

I haven't seen his show, but I enjoyed his book - off-beat and funny.

Thanks for giving your input to the Discovery Channel, Jocelyn_P. I'm not crazy about 5 Takes, but I don't dare complain, at least it's a travel show and they're on the right track.
