Travel and Leisure survey on cities- very interesting

Travel and Leisure surveyed 100,000 people on a variety of travel questions.

One survey really caught my eye. Cities were rated from most friendly to least friendly.

The most unfriendly people were in Washington DC, LA and Miami

The most friendly were in Honolulu, New Orleans and Seattle

I have to agree the people in Miami, LA and Washington are very cold.

What do you think?

LA residents are actually very friendly. You can stop anyone and ask for directions or restaurant recommendations. It's one of my favorite cities to visit since I seem to always meet new friends for future visits. If you find them to be unfriendly, it's only because you've never bothered to say hi and be friendly to them.

LA people aren't unfriendly, just pre-occupied. They are simply bewildered at all times, wondering "Why the hell did I move here?"

People who live in the big cities in the northeast are traditionally unfriendly to strangers because they were brought up to not trust people. LA and Miami are full of people from New York and other big NE cities.

The survey is right on!

Congratulations, Rodger. You get the award for the dumbest comment of the week!

Rodger is right. People from the big industrial cities are very cold by nature. 100000 votes to the survey can not be wrong!
