Transportation to Myakka state park, Sarasota, FL
 

I enjoy short trips to Florida Gulfcoast. Have been to Myakka State Park previously and would like to know if there is anyway of getting there without a car. My spouse always has car rental but in event I have some free days is it possible to get there using bus or shuttle service.
Have not noticed any thing on boards at hotel showing day trips around Sarasota. We like Siesta Key beach and usually stay near Clark Road area and I did see a bus sign on Clark but do not know if there is anything going near Myakka. We also visit Barnum Bailey museum if we have enough time. Thanks to all. Kate
