Transportation to and from La Guardia
I need help with transportation to and from La Guardia airport for 4 adults. We'll be staying near Macy's and Madison Sq. Gardens on 7th Av. This will be for 4 adults. Also, any thoughts on the Manhattan TV & Movie Tour? Thanks in advance for any info. This will be our first visit and we'll be in town for 5 days.

La Guardia is very close to the city and most people take a taxi. Regular size taxis can squeeze 4 people (3 in the back and one up front with driver). Assuming your luggage will fit in the trunk, you should be fine. You might want 1 person in your party to alert the taxi dispatcher (at the front of the line) that you're 4 people if there's a minivan cab available. If you've lots lots of luggage, you may need 2 cabs OR you could arrange ahead for a car service pick up.
There are 4 car services listed if you scroll down to the bottom of this page

There is a bus that goes to Penn station which is right near where you're staying, but at $8-10/person it would be more than the price of a cab.
Can't help on the movie tour. Someone else posted yesterday about taking the nyc party shuttle tour ($50 for 8 1/2 hrs.) and liked it but it's not specialized.

To get to LGA, grab a taxi or schedule a car service such as Carmel, 212-666-6666. The cost is about the same. If you have too much luggage for the trunk, you can request a minivan from Carmel (for a small additional charge).
Enjoy NYC!

Agree with all above. Or the trip can be done via public transit with connections - but I would never have the nerve to drag a lot of luggage onto the subway - never mind up and down all those stairs.
