Transportation from Boston Logan to the Cape?
My DH has to make an unexpected trip to England, and will fly back into Boston to join rest of family at our Cape cottage (Eastham). He arrives on a Sunday afternoon. It would be great if he could get to say, Hyannis, so we can pick him up there rather than face weekend Boston traffic to collect him.
Looks as if the ferry to P-town would be one option. What about bus or shuttle service? I found the airport site but it has a fancy new app that doesn't seem to work for what I need. Your suggestions appreciated!

The Plymouth & Brockton bus company has a bus from Logan to Hyannis. Weekend schedule here:

If he wants, he could continue on from Hyannis via the Plymouth and Brockton Bus to either Eastham (stop is at Town Hall) or North Eastham (Village Green). The bus continues on all the way to Provincetown with stops in the towns along the way. He'd have to change buses in Hyannis, but it's not an onerous problem and in my experience the bus is rarely full. Schedule:

Thank you all, that's so helpful! I think the P&B bus will be perfect -- picks up at all terminals, and pay on the bus. Air is a nice option, but we've already exceeded our travel $$ with an unexpected flight to England...

We often take the P+B bus from Hyannis to Logan. It is reliable and easy. He can purchase his ticket on the bus in Boston. If he gets the Logan Express it will take him only 2 hours to get to Hyannis.

A head's up, prompted by your comment about the Logan Express: there is a bus company called Logan Express that doesn't go where he wants to -- he should look for Plymouth and Brockton on the side of the bus, and check that its the express bus to Hyannis.
I have twice sat on the Logan Express bus to Framingham and listened people on the phone explaining to family that they somehow got on the wrong bus, and would be later than expected, so I know it happens.
