Transportation from Airport
 

We will be flying into Anchorage arriving at 12:30 AM. The hotel/motel shuttle runs only until 11:00 PM. Any ideas on getting from the airport to downtown Anchorage? Thanks.

First of all, if your hotel is unwilling to accomodate you on a 24 hour basis even when your room is booked for 10 and a half hours, you chose the wrong property.<BR><BR>Secondly, are you going to be renting a car? By having the car rental agency pick you up at the airport, you will be losing another 2-8%. <BR><BR>People need to learn how to shop for itineraries. And, they need to learn to ask for the most crucial information that will save them dollars.<BR><BR>What hotel are you staying at? I'm really curious why they don't want or need your business.

Switch to a hotel that has a complimentary 24 hour shuttle. Might I suggest Spring Hill Suites. They picked me up about 1:00 a.m.

We are staying at the Aurora Winds Bed and Breakfast. I don't believe they have shuttles for BnB's. Plus...there are 17 of us that will need a ride.<BR>Marsha
