Transport from Dulles Airport to Dupont Circle

Hi -<BR>What is the best transport to use from Dulles airport to our hotel in Dupont Circle?<BR><BR>I've heard there is a shuttle bus - does anyone have details?<BR><BR>Also, if we took a taxi, which are companies are recommended?<BR><BR>Thanks.

Super Shuttle van is the most reasonable price option.<BR>http://www.supershuttle.com/htm/cities/dca.htm<BR>

Washington Flyer has the concession for all transportation from Dulles. They run good cabs (probably $50 to get into town) or a very comfortable bus ($10 I think) that runs every 1/2 hour or hour. The bus will drop you at the Convention center. From there you can flag a cab - it should be another $6-$7 from the Convention Center to Dupont (about 2 miles).

Super Shuttle is awful. A co-worker took it from Dulles to her home in Bethesda, MD. It took more than 3.5 hours because of all of the stops. It should have been an hour, tops. And I've heard other horror stories.<BR><BR>If your traveling by yourself, I'd go for a shuttle (not Super Shuttle, though). Otherwise, it's not going to cost you much more to just take a cab.

Is it not possible to fly into Regan National? The metro is right there at the airport and you can take that right to Dupont Circle. Make sure that if you are only flying into Dulles becasue of the price that you factor in the additional transportation costs. When going to the city, I always recommend National.
