Transport between MIA and FLL airports - no more super shuttle?
It appears that Super shuttle no longer picks up or functions in Florida (neither MIA or FLL shows up in their pull-down tab). The Go Shuttle looks like $26/pp so $60 including tip. Should we just rent a car for 38.30 (20.95 + tax) and drive ourselves?
We'd be leaving MIA airport during rushhour at around 4:30 pm and our flight out of FLL is at 8:30 pm. Could we rent a car and have dinner at some great Cuban place for that incredible roasted garlic chicken I've had in Los Angeles? |
Not sure where you looked - but the supershuttle site does include FL/Miami.

When i try to do an on-line res, MIA doesn't show up in their list. What am I missing here?

Might call them Miami:(305) 871-2000 for precise quote
usually rent a cheap car www.carrentals.com with 2 or more Did it about 4 weeks ago many nice places to eat on your way Pick one you like or review www.yelp.com for MIA |
thanks qwovadis -- i called and it's $30 pp so 70 total for 2 people.
Think we'll rent the car for $38 -- I've heard great things about this Haitian place called Tap Tap in Miami. Reviews of the food at Versailles is so mixed with the food sounding average but people loving the experience. I eat at Versailles everytime I connect through MIA :) |
Sorry to hijack, but can one take public transport/TriRail from MIA airport to Fort Lauderdale near the marina? Not the airport per se, but more like hotels near the convention center and marina?
