Staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Oahu and need transportation to Pearl Harbor. I called Charley's taxi service stationed in our hotel and they want $30.00 each way. Any other taxi or shuttle suggestions? Public transportation? What # bus and how long will it take? I think the hotel is about 7 to 10 miles from the Memorial. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

We stayed there back in October. They offer shuttle service that cost about $10 round trip. The shuttles leave every hour and we had no problems. Just see the concierge.

Follow above poster's advice. There are also various bus tours available that include Pearl Harbor as a stop. We hit Pearl Harbor that way, and learned a lot of interesting info from our driver in the meantime.

I know ot was a long tome ago that we were there but the Hilton then had a shuttle to pearl via their own catamarran. I wonder if they still do?
