Does anyone have an opinion about the historic train station in Savanah?

Thanks

What train station are you inquiring about? There is an Amtrak station in Savannah. It is not a historic station.

I'm sorry, I shoulda been more specific.
There is an old train station that has been converted to a museum. There is a roundhouse ,trains and such.

Thanks

Now I remember reading about that museum in a travel book. It sounded as if it would be fun for those interested in trains.

Gromit, we went there years ago and thought it made for a nice stop. When we visited, our children (now teens) were into Thomas the Tank Engine in a big way, and hence very interested in any kind of old trains and stations. The roundhouse looks just like the one in the Thomas the Tank Engine stories! It's not a big museum complex so it won't take long to see everything and walk around. If you like old trains you will probably enjoy making a stop there.

I went to that museum about 3 years ago and enjoyed it. If you like trains, it is worth a visit. It is quite small, so does not take more than 1 hour to see the whole thing. I was the only visitor when I went and found it to be a bit lonely and kind of spooky, but that added to the sense of history.
