I am just back from Sun Valley and we did see some of the herds as they were moving north for the summer. Very interesting.

I am told that the sheep herders are mostly Peruvian now instead of Basque- but it's an interesting history.

True-sheepherders for the last 20-30 years have been Peruvian.
