Tours for Seniors near Las Vegas
My parents will be in Las Vegas in November and would like to stay in Vegas for a few days (that part is already arranged) and then are looking for a nice tour for the next 7 days or so. Does anyone have any suggestions of what might be nice to see in the area? Are there any recommended tour groups? They would be interested in National Parks, nice resorts, pretty much anything. I suggested a donkey ride down the Grand Canyon, but my 81 year old Mother vetoed that one! Thanks!

I don't know about tours but November is a great time to visit Death Valley National Park. With 7 days I also recommend Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce. All national parks. It would be a wonderful tour if they can drive themselves.

The Valley of Fire is only about 45 minutes out of Vegas, its a fabulous place, then you can travel straight through to Lake Mead. Alos the Hoover Dam is interesting. We always go to Laughlin on the Colorado when we are in Vegas. Its geared up for Seniors, I think we are the youngest there and we are in our fifties.

Tauck has a tour that starts in Scotsdale, goes to the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Zion and Bryce and then ends in Las Vegas. The overnights ar the national parks are at the lodges actually in the parks, which would be hard to book on one's own. We really enjoyed the tour. However, it is only offered through October, probably because by then it would be very cold and possibly even snowy in the mountains.
