The one I recommended was on W147th St, VERY cute and well priced and wish I could remember the name, the Harlem something (but it's actually in Hamilton Heights on a National Landmark Street). I'll try and find the name.

It's the Harlem Landmark Guest House, I just found it on google. There are now alot of B&Bs in the city, just found a brand new one on W154th called the Saint Nicholas Inn, on another National Landmark St.

I just tried to get a room at the Ace for 5 nights in mid-October. All the rooms are available, but, unfortunately for us, the price has significantly increased (though of course it is still extremely reasonable for NYC.)
In any case, the management responded to my request for information immediately and with a personal e-mail. Pretty good, imo! The place definitely looks like the kind of hotel we would love.
