Has any one joined their tour group? All the packages provided are kinda pricy, so, wouild like to know if it is worth it.

I have found National Geographic is a very expensive trip. Don't know where you are going, but most USA-based trips contract through a limited number of local tour agencies. You could probably find exactly the same trip for a lesser price. Remember, everyone that handles your booking gets at least 10% of the trip cost.

I think the deals are quite expensive. I wonder if anyone has actually taken a tour. I guess, National Geographic is a good TV channel and that's it. Unless you're high roller, you won't book a package through National Geographic. But the tours are wrapped up in fascinating and attractive graphics, no?

I just received a brochure in the mail a few days ago from National Geographic Expeditions. I think the prices are VERY high.
